At WAGA, we understand that Technology has caused many environmental and social problems, however, we believe that Technology is also crucial to addressing numerous environmental degradation crisis, climate change, food scarcity, waste management, oil spill and other pressing global challenges in our world today. WAGA will support and empower the youth to adopt the use Technology in solving pressing problems in our environment. As we work across communities in Nigeria, we need to harness the digital revolution to drive forward environmental sustainability using a combination of high/low-tech solutions and environmentally friendly products. We advocate strongly, adoption of digital technology to engage and empower governments, companies and for communities to adopt environmentally sustainable practices, policies and business models.
Mission
Our mission is to support the vulnerable communities with information and analysis, that enhances situational awareness, supports informed decision-making, strengthens operational practice and enables humanitarian access for positive and sustainable life.
Mandate
Our mandate is to provide direct support to the humanitarian community worldwide. WAGA support is only available to non-profit NGOs, vulnerable communities and is completely free of charge.
